I thought it was only appropriate to sleep on floors, chairs and random crevices in the hallowed libraries at Cornell. However, me and a few students from Lafayette have continued this tradition of sleeping in public in the Charlotte airport. The camaraderie of sleep-deprived college students eagerly awaiting a spring break filled with nights they will not remember and poor decisions encouraged by alcohol continues to amaze me. It’s moments like this that I love our country and have faith in our future generations. Yes, we may look like bums, laying here in the middle of the floor, but the unity and courage required to start new trends, and look out for our health, are small indications that maybe we’re not as fucked up as our elders think we are. Or maybe it’s worse than we thought…. Happy Spring Break everyone!
This is one of the videos we had to watch/analyze for my psychology final. Sometimes I love school :)
